Utilising Hanovia’s world class UV disinfection technology, the UVD and 200 Series ranges are specially designed for water disinfection including Legionella protection.
Water supplies are generally treated with chlorine but by the time the chlorine enters buildings, it is at a low level and not capable of killing bacteria that thrive in manufactured water systems. Warm temperature and stagnation encourage rapid multiplication from the low levels of bacteria that seed the system from the incoming water.
Green buildings are integrating Hanovia UV systems in grey water and rain water harvesting disinfection applications. Other applications include fountains, air disinfection and water treatment in air conditioning systems.
